Washington D.C. – 5 Day / 4 Night – Bus Trip

Day One – Monday, August 22, 2022
Depart from your location & enjoy the ride as our deluxe motorcoach takes you to Washington DC. Butbefore arriving to DC we will make a cool stop on the way to Castle Noel, where you will step into“America’s Largest Year Round Indoor Christmas Entertainment Attraction”. Afterward, you will continue on to DC where you will check intoyour 4-Star hotel room at the Omni Shoreham located right in WashingtonDC. Few hotels in the country can claim the significant moments, political adventures, sports heroes, entertainment firsts and milestones, debutanteballs, and inaugural balls, that have taken place over the years at OmniShoreham Hotel. Omni Shoreham Hotel has hosted every president’s inaugural ball from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Barack Obama and is the location where Bill Clinton famouslyplayed his saxophone during his inauguration. Along the way to DC your tour director will play games,movies, and pass out light snacks & refreshments. Arrive at the Hotel check-in, feel free to explore the gorgeous property for the evening

Day Two – Tuesday, August 23, 2022
Enjoy your included breakfast before Departing the hotel with our DC guidefor our morning guided tour that includes Monuments & Memorials, a picturestop at the White House and pictures stops around Capitol Hill. This tour endsat Union Station where you can have lunch (on your own). Afterwards we willcontinue the day with time set aside to visit the Smithsonian (The NationalMuseum of African American History and Culture is one of the options). Will then have an included dinner in DC. Following dinner an illuminatedtour provides a unique perspective while the museums and other attractionsclose for the evening

Day Three – Wednesday, August 24, 2022
Enjoy your included breakfast. Depart hotel with guide to visit Arlington Cemetery,where you will have a tram tour and viewing of the changing of the guards at the “TheTomb of the Unknown Soldier”. So you see everything will have a continuation of the
tour you started the day before (with step-on guide) tour including the Iwo Jima Memorial.After Lunch (on your own) there will be more time to visit one of the manySmithsonian Museums of your choice. A Dinner in DC will be included.

Day Four – Thursday, August 25, 2022
Enjoy your included breakfast. Depart the hotel for your last full day in DC. Today youwill experience the Bible at one of D.C.’s most popular attractions, the “Bible Museum”.Engage with interactive exhibits, see 1000+ artifacts, take a VR tour of Biblical lands andmore! Lunch is on your own at the Museum. Afterwards will continue onto Mt. Vernon.Tour the country estate of George Washington, the first President of the United States.Learn about his life and the home he loved at this living Museum. Again, dinner included.

Day Five – Friday, August 26, 2022
Enjoy hot breakfast at hotel prior to checking out to head home. But before headinghome we will head the Flight 93 Memorial in Somerset, PA. Free time at the Flight 93Memorial. The Flight 93 National Memorial is located at the site of the crash of United
Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked in the September 11 attacks. Of the four aircrafthijacked on September 11, Flight 93 is the only one that did not reach its intended target,presumed to be the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. The Memorial Plaza is aplace for quiet reflection and expressions of respect. Afterwards we will continue on our way back home. Meal (On your own) and rest stops en-route. Approximate Arrival to drop-offsare between 8-10 pm depending on traffic
